A nice little getaway where you can watch little turtles swim, locals fish and just stroll around and enjoy the nice mountain view. Guilin View is apperently a place where the locals go and take wedding pictures even though I have not yet been able to see that.... There is supposed to be a Guilin View somewhere in China and this place should be a small copy of that site? Thats the reason for the name "little guilin".

  • Swiss Cottage Secondary School, Singaporean (guest) wrote 17 years ago:
Now its my school!. The environment is okay, but they bore you a lot on the first day making you regret not appealing to another school. Well, there are a few haunted (minor) spots, but I better not reveal it. To get there, you can take buses like 188, 985, they go to CCK Interchange, I guess. I only take 188. 188 is always packed with Swiss Sec Students. The 2nd top school in the West, with a minimum aggregate of 238. You could get in by the second choice easily, since most would pick BPGHS.
  • Yishun Dam, Singaporean (guest) wrote 17 years ago:
This is a good place to picnic. The dam is a bit long, so there is plenty of space left. I like to go there. You can see people staying overnight, but most of them stay up till 2 in the morning. Just do not bring stuff that will fly away easily, like a beach ball, since this place is always windy, or you'll end up losing it!
