    That is not Pulau Ular, that is Pulau Busing. What used to be Pulau Ular is the western part of Pulau Bukom Kechil, now merged into one. The patch of land between Pulau Busing (wrongly shown as Pulau Ular in the map) and Pulau Bukom Kechil was newly reclaimed in 2006 and contains the Shell Ethylene Chemical Complex. That patch of land is now part of Shell territory that includes Pulau Bukom Kechil and Pulau Bukom. Pulau Busing belongs to Tankstore and is fenced from the rest of the land area.

    the causeway start with 10 sea pipes in 1924 then the British blew up 5 sea pipes during the war in 1942 then the Japanese army came and buried another sea pipes then the PUB came in 1961 and pile out 1 more sea pipes to lay 3 raw water pipes then the PWD came and buried another 2 more sea pipes to expand 2 more lane road in 1970 then the JKR came in to redo another bridge that kill off the last 2 sea pipes in 2007 really a crab story cos the crab now day cannot swim cross the eco-link@causeway no more...
