    I studied in Balestier Junior Trade School for a three year coursed in Motor Mechanic. After graduation and after working for about three years I went back to the then Junior Technical School as Instructor in the Motor Mechanics Dept. I was there for about three years when I left the school and join the Cycle and Carriage Co. Pte. Ltd. I was with them for about twenty years holding various positions, Workshop Manager, Cemtral Service Manager and eventually Plant Manager at the assembly plant at Hillview Ave. I left C&C in 1974 to persue my fibreglass fabrication business Dynamics Engineering and Dynaglass Reinforced Plastic Pte Ltd.     This is the COM1 building. NUS School of Computing has now moved to this place. The Dean's office, most of faculty offices, research labs, seminar rooms and meeting rooms are now at the new building.
