    Thank you Mishra, it is true indeed. I've been staying here ever since 1988. Its peaceful here and there's reservoir nearby. And for everyone's info, the Muslim resident here always have a void feast (kenduri) with some prayer recited before and after the sacred month of Ramaadhan.     This was a police quarters. I was staying here from 1983 till 1985. The rent here was around $25 - $30 back then in 1983. After getting a 5-room HDB flat at Yishun in 1986, I moved out. Very convenience as it was in the town area.

    This was where I worked from 1993 to 2000 - Special Investigation Section (Homicide Section), Criminal Investigation Department, Singapre Police Force. I worked in this section since 1981 and retired early in 2003. previously the department was located along Robinson Road (opposite CPF's building) then to Pearl's Hill Terrace (Chinatown) and from 2000 it was re-located at Cantonment complex at the junction of Cantonment Road and Eu Tong Sen Street
